2026 was an another exciting year for GCWBA with the defence of the Savegar and Dorothy Bumford Cups, not forgetting our competitive games with our friends over the border and the introduction of the new Senior O55s Savegar Cup. The Savegar team once again reached the Welsh Finals but unfortunately didn't quite manage to make it 5 in a row losing to Mid Wales. However, the Senior Savegar lifted our spirits winning the Welsh Cup final against South Wales & Mon. To walk away with the title in the very first year of the competition is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Ladies!👏
GWCBA encourages anyone who wishes to be considered for selection to put their name down on the County Match Availability Sheets, if you need any more information just ask your Club Secretary.

A very competitive season for the Dorothy Bumford Cup Team, it wasn't meant to be this year but you fought hard right up to the last game where it was all to play for. Congratulations to South Wales & Mon on their victory.
