SOCIAL MATCHES

Glamorgan County has 34 Bowling Clubs and several hundred bowlers. In between all our County matches, league games and Competitions we make time to host a few social events for our members.      

We start on Weds 3rd June with a match between the County President’s team and the County Vice-President’s team hosted at Bridgend Municipal BC and Pencoed BC. After the match the teams meet up for High Tea at the Masonic Hall in Coity, Nr Bridgend. 

Later in the season on Wednesday 12th August we hold our County Patrons Day on the two bowling greens at Penarth Windsor BC followed by lunch locally. 

Both games can accommodate 96 players and spectators are welcome.  These events are popular as players meet up and play with bowlers from Clubs in other parts of the County.  Please ask your club secretary for more details if you wish to attend.
