It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nina Shipperlee of Whitchurch. A  Life Member of Glamorgan, Nina served with distinction as County President from 2007 to 2008.

Throughout her remarkable bowls career, Nina represented her County and Country with pride. She was a long-serving Welsh International, competed in the Atlantic Rim Games, gained qualifications as an umpire and coach, and proudly earned a Commonwealth Games Bronze medal.

Nina is pictured here celebrating her 2002 Commonwealth Games Bronze medal success alongside teammates Gill Miles, Pam John, and Ann Sutherland.

She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.
